Fortune Favors the Bold

You've heard the saying, "The more things change, the more they stay the same." In defense contracting, however, change is the only constant.

From Requests for Quotation and GSA Schedules to evolving Department of War priorities, yesterday's knowledge can quickly become outdated. The pathways for pursuing Commercial Solutions Openings, Small Business Innovation Research opportunities, Broad Agency Announcements, Other Transaction Agreements, and direct research-and-development contracts continue to evolve — often in response to urgent operational needs based on modified COTS products.

Add the rapid impact of artificial intelligence, and the competitive landscape becomes even more challenging.

Many companies pursue these opportunities, but relatively few are selected. The Advent Group does not claim to have every answer. We do, however, stay close to the market, monitor emerging requirements, and help clients identify where and how to compete more effectively. Success can never be guaranteed, but an informed, disciplined strategy can significantly improve the odds.
